From the depths of the sea, a story arises...
Funnily enough this is where our story begins. Not in the ocean, but the North Sea (although the North Sea was technically called an 'ocean' in the past).

Our founder came across these rare fossils (a product of bycatch, found by local fisherman) and was intrigued. The pieces with historical significance found their way to museums and educational centres. But the big question remained: what to do with these rare and magnificent pieces that are left?

You have to keep in mind: if not preserved correctly these pieces can fall apart very easily and each time this happens a little bit of history will be lost forever. And so the first idea for Ocean's Ivory began: what if there's somehow we can share a piece of remarkable history and also give it a chance to not go to waist? This thought kick-started a much bigger journey than we could have ever hoped.

It took a couple of years but with trial and error our product reached a level of luxury we could only dream about. Made from authentic fossils, preserved in a way we can make it last so much longer.

Our 'Epoch Collection' is a collection made exclusively from fossils found in the North Sea as a product of bycatch. It's where Ocean's Ivory begins. This is our story, this is our epoch.
